Outreach

Outreach Mission

The Michigan Geological Survey’s outreach efforts aim to make Michigan’s geological information easily accessible to the public. They seek to increase awareness and understanding of Michigan’s geological resources, promoting responsible stewardship and ensuring widespread access to this valuable knowledge. We accomplish this through a range of outlets– video and written content, visits and tours of our facility, and participation in educational events.
