Database Validation
Wellogic, the water well database for the State of Michigan has 1M+ existing water wells within it. The primary goal for pre-existing data is reviewing and correcting critical information. Two parts of this critical information is the accuracy of the maps and related lithological core accuracy for the purpose of creating models for groundwater contamination.
Database Expansion
Many older wells were drilled without their records being entered into Wellogic. The project intends to recover, digitize, and enter as many missing logs as possible. Recent and newly drilled wells are entered into the database soon after they are drilled. Of the 1M+ well logs in the database, over a quarter of them have been added by the Triage Project in the last 4 years.
Application Services
Provide hydrogeologic maps, models, applications and services created with data from the Wellogic database – especially for projects that require expedited or response based information.
What is PFAS?
PFAS (Per- and polyfluorinated Alkyl Substances) are extremely harmful for human health, even in lower concentrations where it is measured in parts per trillion (ppt). Over consumption leads to a myriad of serious health complications such as liver damage, thyroid diseases, cancers, and decreased fertility. They are sourced from many common industrial chemicals used in fire proof materials, non-stick products, water resistant products, etc.
