The Triage Project

About

Wellogic, the water well database for Michigan, contains over 1 million water well records. The Triage Project is an initiative aimed at improving the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of the Wellogic database by validating location data, verifying lithological core descriptions, and entering old, missing well logs. These efforts are helping the State of Michigan respond to PFAS contamination concerns, address issues related to high-capacity water withdrawals, and with developing groundwater models for aquifer characterization.
